Help a child struggling with reading by listening to him or her read aloud for you one-on-one. Your coaching, patience, and encouragement can make all the difference.
You’ll feel great! And you’ll help a young child feel good about himself and reading.
This service opportunity is ideal. Perhaps you are a retired person looking for a way to give back and stay active. Or you may be someone thinking about a career working with young children. Or perhaps you are not working, and would like to do something that will not only make a difference, but look good on your resume.
Your love of children, reading, and learning is all that is needed. Just a few hours per week.
Hours are somewhat flexible.
